Problems

Parking_swap_icons.png
  1. Parking demand is high but available options are scarce or expensive.

  2. Exhausted of traffic congestion.

According to industry data, 30% of traffic congestion occurs due to vehicle drivers struggling to find parking space.

How Might We Solve Traffic Congestion and a Lack of Parking Spots?

Market Research

  1. In U.S, the total cost of personal transportation amounts to $3 trillion per year. Parking represented a staggering 12.5 percent of this total.

The Global Parking Management Market is estimated to grow from USD 3.03billion in 2016 to USD 5.00 billion by 2021.

  2. Off-street Parking ( I.e garages and surface lots)

It represents about two-thirds of all parking-related revenue in the US.

It is largely owned by private enterprise.

  3. In 2017, INRIX Research found drivers in the US spend an average of 17 hours per year searching for parking, costing them $345 each in time, fuel and emissions. The company noted parking issues can also hurt businesses, with 39 per cent of drivers reporting they avoided shops due to parking difficulties.

“Parking management market is a big market.”
